What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise you on later pages or visits. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by the site you are visiting) or “third-party” (set by another company whose code runs on the page). UK law, through the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, requires sites to ask for your consent before setting cookies that are not strictly necessary.
Cookies used on this site
By default, Pixel Stage Guide sets no cookies at all. You can read every page, follow every link and send a message through the contact form without a single cookie being stored. The contact form protects itself against spam with a signed token inside the form rather than with a cookie.
The only cookie the site can ever set itself is the one that remembers your answer to the consent banner:

This cookie is set only after you make a choice in the banner. If the banner is not shown (see below), it is never set.
What we do not use
- No analytics cookies (we do not run Google Analytics or similar tools).
- No social-network buttons, embedded players or other third-party widgets that set their own cookies.
- No advertising networks on our pages: the site shows no adverts.
- No local storage or fingerprinting to work around cookie choices.
Advertising measurement and consent
We may promote Pixel Stage Guide through Google Ads. When that campaign tag is switched on, the site shows a consent banner the first time you visit, with two equal buttons: “Reject all” and “Accept all”. Nothing is loaded until you choose.
- Reject all: no Google code runs, no advertising cookie is set. Only
ps_consentis stored, so that we remember not to ask again. - Accept all: the Google Ads tag loads and may set Google’s conversion-measurement cookies on this domain. They tell us whether a visit came from one of our adverts. The names and lifetimes of these cookies are documented by Google at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
The tag is loaded in “consent mode”, which means it respects your choice technically as well as legally: with consent refused, it is simply not present on the page. When the campaign tag is not configured, the banner is not shown at all and the site remains cookie-free.
Game publishers’ sites
The “Play now” links open the publishers’ official sites in a new tab. Those sites set their own cookies, typically for logging in and, in some cases, for their own advertising. They are covered by the publishers’ cookie and privacy policies, not by this page, and we have no control over them.
Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- Use the “Manage cookies” link in the footer of every page. It clears the stored choice and shows the banner again.
- Delete cookies for pixelstageguide.com in your browser settings; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
- Block cookies entirely in your browser. The site keeps working: nothing on it depends on cookies.

Changes
